The purpose of this policy is to prevent misuse, unauthorized modification, or commercial use of information provided on the 2026 Gangneung World Masters Table Tennis Championships (hereinafter “the Championships”) website without proper attribution, which may cause harm to users.

All content provided on the Championships website — including web documents, attachments, images, videos, and database information — is protected under copyright law. Unless otherwise noted or specified, the copyright belongs to the Championships.

If you wish to gain profit or equivalent benefit from the content provided, you must first obtain prior consent or make arrangements with the Secretariat of the Championships. Even if permission is granted, the source must be cited as the Championships website.

For purposes such as reporting, criticism, education, or research, fair use within a reasonable scope is permitted. However, such citations must be limited to portions of the original content.

Personal or domestic use within a similar scope that is not for profit may be allowed. However, reproduction by companies or other organizations, even if non-profit, is not permitted for internal use.

Linking to the main page of the Championships website from other websites is allowed. However, deep linking to subpages (subdomains) is not permitted. Notification must also be given to the system administrator when linking to the main page.

Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of content from the Championships website constitutes infringement of copyright under Article 97 of the Copyright Act and may result in imprisonment of up to 5 years or a fine of up to 50 million KRW.
