At the ITTF World Masters Table Tennis Championships Gangneung 2026, titles will be awarded by the following age groups:

• 40–44 years (Born 1986–1982)
• 45–49 years (Born 1981–1977)
• 50–54 years (Born 1976–1972)
• 55–59 years (Born 1971–1967)
• 60–64 years (Born 1966–1962)
• 65–69 years (Born 1961–1957)
• 70–74 years (Born 1956–1952)
• 75–79 years (Born 1951–1947)
• 80–84 years (Born 1946–1942)
• 85–89 years (Born 1941–1937)
• 90 years and above (Born before 1936)

Each player must compete in their own age group.
However, in doubles, players may belong to different age groups. In that case, the pair will compete in the age group of the youngest player.
